Art-school-trained graphic designer. Son of United Methodist pastor and architect parents. It shouldn't be surprising to find that my passion is for places where rich personal connections meet communication technology and design. With technology changing and growing right before our eyes, there are amazing opportunities to create new rich experiences for connecting customers, consumers, friends, relatives, neighbors, groups, fans, and activists to the information, products, services, and causes they need and love.

Working in the online/interactive arena for 10 years now, I've had the chance to go solo on some projects as well as being part of some wonderful larger teams on other projects. Professionally, I have served as Senior Interactive Art Director and Associate Creative Director, founding one agency's first formal interactive department early in 2008.

With experience building Flash websites, HTML/Javascript sites, PHP-based WordPress, phpBB, b2evolution, Drupal, and RSS/Podcast/XML functionality I enjoy being able to step into any project and help make it successful. My familiarity with photo shoots, video shoots, music composition and production, and developer management keep me in the mix of those projects that are meaningful, relevant, and (hopefully, if we've done our job right) inspiring.
